Our Mission

In 2003 God laid a burden on the heart of Rev. David Kile to start a work in Rankin County. He rented a store front in Pearl and Apostolic Faith Tabernacle began services in June with 18 present at the first service with his wife Lisa and three of his sons Jesse, Zack and Alex. With wonderful Holy Ghost filled services, souls were added to the kingdom and a building fund was started. In October of 2012 his congregation moved into their beautiful new church building on Highway 468 in Brandon. God has added many souls through the years and we are believing for many more. Many have heard this gospel through the jail ministry and the numerous bible studies that have been taught. Apostolic Faith Tabernacle is built on a foundation of prayer and the belief that God’s truth will endure to all generations!

What We Believe

Apostolic Faith Tabernacle Is Bible based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs and our lifestyle on The Word of God. Based on Scripture we believe the following.

Fundamental Doctrine

The basic and fundamental doctrine is the Bible standard of full salvation which is repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance.

We shall endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit until we all come into unity of the faith, at the same time admonishing all brethren that they shall not contend for their different views to the disunity of the body.

The Bible

The bible is the infallible Word of God and the authority for salvation and Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:15-17) .

God

There is one God, who has revealed Himself as our Father, in His Son Jesus Christ, and as the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ is God manifest in flesh. He is both God and man. (Deuteronomy 6: 4; Ephesians 4: 4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16).

Sin & Salvation

Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. (Romans 3: 23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2: 8-9).

The Gospel

The saving gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We obey the gospel (2 Thessalonians 1:8; 1 Peter 4:17) by repentance (death to sin) water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ (burial), and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost (resurrection) (1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:4;37-39, Romans 6: 3-4).

Christian Living

As Christians we are to love God and others. We should live a Holy life inwardly and outwardly.

The Future

Jesus Christ is coming again to catch away His church. In the end will be the final resurrection and the final judgement. The righteous will inherit eternal life, and the unrighteous eternal death (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelations 20: 11-15).
